This is another place that I've been going to for ages. For the longest time I'd only been here for breakfast, and then I started going for lunch when I was working around the corner. Their breakfasts are what the place is known for. Even at lunch time, get a breakfast meal. It's a tiny greasy-spoon type place, but the food isn't so greasy. I don't really know how to describe it except to say that it's a place I really enjoy. They have pretty standard fare, bacon & eggs, omelets, pancakes, chicken fried steak, biscuits & gravy. The waitresses are the kind that have been there forever, and if you come in more than once, they'll remember your name. When I was going for lunch, I only really ever got one thing, and that's their BLT. While it wasn't the cheapest thing on the menu, it was and still is one of my favorite sandwiches. They made it perfectly for the way I wanted to eat it then. (There are about 500 ways to make a BLT.)

what a deal!! also the food can't be beat but i think the best about Marti"s are the servers. Friendly, fast and attentive. Need more water, right there, coffee cup empty, here it is. Nice little place but because of the layout and not being near the kitchen, you can enjoy the food without feeling like you are in a sauna, which is so different from their competition across the street. Ate there a few times and always felt like i was sweltering, not at Marti's though. If you are in a hurry this is the place for you unless the line is out the door.

The raisin toast was delicious like the menu said. Country fried steak cooked perfectly with the right amount of gravy. Not too much sausage not too much pepper. Sausage links well done and split which for us great, probably not ok for others. Really enjoyed the character of the restaurant. Jokes and other whimsical writings on the walls. Nice weekend breakfast spot with no frills.

You can't beat the $4.95 breakfast with no tax! Eggs done right, excellent homefries and hash browns. Three peices of bacon and two toasts. Good coffee too!

Great little greasy spoon type of place. Don't spend too long looking at the ceiling though. The cliental is very local and friendly. I sat at the small counter and was greeted in a friendly manner by a nice lady who could tell I had never been there before. I was in the mood for a BLT and some good fries. Marti's delivered 100%. I swear the BLT had at least 5 pieces of crispy bacon on it, a big fat slab of tomato, crisp lettuce and mayo...it was wonderful :-) The fries were hot, crispy, and delicious. The Cole Slaw was pretty standard fare, but tasted good. I had my sandwich, fries, and ice tea for $8.95. Good deal! They serve breakfast all day long and I was told the burger is excellent with the best quality meat and it's very flavorful. I think I need to go back!!!

Nice little place. Good biscuit and gravy. Hash browns that are actually brown. Wife's omelet was very tasty. Would recommend stopping in.

When you factor in the price, the potential for some kind of seasonal costume on the staff, the easy location in south Ft Myers and the clientele (seniors anyone?), well this place is a no-brainer. Get the Virginia Lovers omelette with grits, or biscuits and gravy, or plain old all American, no wrong turns here. Good food, good people and no pretense.

Disappointed, nothing is made from scratch or fresh, they charge $9 for a country fried steak the size of a burger patty, the side corn was warmed up corn from a can, no seasoning whatsoever, the Cole slaw tasted like supermarket premade slaw. Carpet was filthy and worn out.

Perfect basic breakfast joint. Staff is friendly and quick. Nothing fancy, but the perfect simple menu - eggs, omellettes, pancakes. Great omellettes - fresh ingredients. Only down side was the home fries were so-so.

This place serves the best burgers in town! Very good size burger made from real meat and cooked to perfection! I did not take a break nor talk the entire time I ate their burger since it was that good! Do not be fooled by the appearance or location because their quality of food is top notch!

Your typical greasy spoon diner. Older crotchety in a good way waitresses. Best breakfast sandwich in Fort Myers. Definitely skewed towards an older crowd.

I LOVE this place. It is a classic diner with an older clientele who know good food at a good price! We eat here at least twice a week and have our favorite waitress. Everyone is real and sometimes a bit salty, but always in a fun way. I never run out of coffee refills too. Always important in a diner!

Probably one of the best breakfast spots in the area. If you are from out of town & looking for southern comfort at it's best... head here. Locals already know about Marti's, the line will be out the door by 8:30 am on any given weekend... season or not. The breakfast is tastee with wide selections of omletes, silver dollar cakes, bis & gravy, potatoes choices & a VERY cheap menu until I believe 10:00 am. Perfect for the business person on the go looking for fast, good food with southern charm. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE LUNCH!!!! Homemade soups, salads, sammies, and comfort dishes. YUM YUM YUM! Literally one of the best chicken sandwiches around- sub the soup for your side... trust me! Wild rice and chicken is a personal fav. Kate is my favorite server, her dry humor brightens my day every time!

This place will deff take you back in time but don't be scared off by the old decor, it adds charm. Pretty much your standard menu items, nothing fancy but it's all done well and excellent service. The prices are very reasonable an portions are quite large. As always try to use cash when dealing with small businesses, they get killed with credit card fees. I work in the area and at lunch time they can get you in and out as fast as you want or you can take time to relax and enjoy the sweet tea. I like it!

Great little old school diner. My husband and I went there for breakfast, it was packed so we sat at the bar. The waitresses are adorable, know everyone's name and are very attentive. I had a 3 egg omelette with home fries and toast, it was just over $5 and I could only get through half of it, it was so filling. My husband had a bacon, egg and cheese sub with home fries, under $5. Our coffee cups were kept filled which was great! It's definitely nothing fancy but great home cooked style breakfast, we'll be back for sure.
